Our Team of Bellingham Massage Therapists

Amanda Cook

I am a graduate from WCC Massage Therapy Program with a passion for helping people feel at peace in their bodies. I am an active runner, hiker and bicyclist in my free time and know how difficult it can be when an injury prevents us from doing what we love. My goal is to help you recover, get you back to doing what you enjoy and keep you in prime condition. I am excited to meet you where you are in your health journey.

I am thrilled to be working at Prime Sports Institute as I love their commitment to our community. Having this resource available to athletes and aspiring athletes is amazing, and one I've used through my injury recovery.

I was born and raised in Bellingham and love spending time outside on the trails with my husband and two dogs.

Kristina Zographos

I began practicing massage in 2012.

I want you to experience whole-body wellness, utilizing a variety of massage modalities. My aim is to encourage cohesion within the musculoskeletal system so you will walk out of your massage appointment feeling better than when you walked in.

This can look like many things: an improved range-of-motion, a reduction in chronic or acute pain and/or muscle stiffness, a decrease in stress levels, or a quicker bounce-back after a particularly grueling training session.

Whatever your goal, MY goal is to help you take steps towards attaining it.

Words to describe my philosophy are “Trigger Point Thai" and "Individualization."

Through the yoga-like movement in Thai Massage, imbalances, inflexibilities, and sticking points become clear. With a mix of Thai, trigger point massage, and deep tissue work, I can help you improve flexibility, range of motion, and circulation and work out those new or long-standing pain points.

Treatment massage and medical massage are not a traditional spa massage. Most people think of massage as an indulgence and a treat. While I do my best to make treatment relaxing, my goal is to get to the root of the problem and leave you with results you’ll continue to feel over the next several days.

Ivy Bjornson

I am an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist with an active WA state license since 2010. I have extensive experience working with athletes with my massage training, including the United States Women’s National soccer team and the dancers for the Pacific Northwest Ballet.

Much of my career I worked with ‘athletes of life’ in many stages of their development at the Seattle Athletic Club and a local chiropractic care clinic. I recently returned to Bellingham, where I graduated from Whatcom Community College.

How long of a session should I schedule?

  • 2 Hour Massage - Thai massage. These massage sessions combine compression, acupressure, and passive stretching to increase range of motion, reduce muscle tension in shoulders, neck, hips, hamstrings, and back.

  • 90 Minute Massage - Treatment or Thai massage. Your session may include orthopedic and musculoskeletal evaluation and measurements, allowing for more detailed massage techniques to address your primary complaints and compensations. After, your practitioner will take extra time to recommend self-care strategies and provide a more thorough and customized plan for recovery.

  • 75 Minute Massage - Thai massage. These massage appointments combine compression, acupressure, and passive stretching to increase range of motion, reduce muscle tension in shoulders, neck, hips, hamstrings, and back.

  • 60 Minute Massage - allows your massage practitioner to address both primary and secondary complaints. Also great for a full-body massage experience!

  • 30 Minute Massage - is a fantastic option if you can't wait and need to get in for an abbreviated appointment. Schedule a 30-minute session to treat an acute injury.
