I’m an expert at sports therapy, a geek when it comes to reading and applying research, and my obsession is connecting the dots to dysfunction in your body and return you to the sports and activities you love. 

An award winning Washington native, athlete, educator and dog lover, my happiest days are spent analyzing human movement, and using my hands to unlock the mysteries holding you back from a life of possibility.

Kerry Gustafson, ATL, ATC, LMT is a leader in the field of sports medicine, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. As an athletic trainer and massage therapist, Kerry uses her background in sport biomechanics, performance enhancement, movement quality, and muscles imbalances to specialize in all aspects of human performance.

Kerry Gustafson is the founder and president of Prime Sports Institute, one of the first elite level athletic training performance facilities in the country that integrates physical therapy, sports medicine, fitness, exercise recovery, and sports performance training in Bellingham, WA. She was previously the Athletic Trainer at Washington State University, where she focused on keeping varsity athletes healthy and rehabilitating them back to peak performance. Prior to the Cougars, Kerry Gustafson was the head athletic trainer at Garfield-Palouse High School and Summit Physical Therapy in Pullman, WA for 8 years.

Kerry received her BS in Kinesiology and Major in Athletic Training at Washington State University and her certificate and license in Massage Therapy from Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, WA. She is board certified in athletic training by the National Athletic Training Board of Certification. In addition to her clinical work, she was a clinical instructor at Washington State University.

Kerry has an active Instagram account through Prime Sports Institute (@primebellingham) where she shares her clinical experience in posts several times a week. She is beginning her 3rd year on the SuperFeet Wellness Panel as a contributing writer and video contributor providing educational articles for injury prevention and health and wellness tips to the SuperFeet community.
