LEARN FROM PRIME.

Prime’s Kinesiology Internships offer participants an opportunity to work alongside our team to learn and practice our system.

KINESIOLOGY INTERNSHIP

Prime Sports Institute’s Kinesiology Internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive learning experience that will dramatically improve your knowledge and skills. You’ll have an opportunity to work in a dynamic integrated model of sports performance, athletic training, strength and conditioning, physical therapy, and massage. Under the supervision of the Prime Sports Institute team, you’ll participate in sessions for injury evaluation, prehabilitation, rehabilitation, and recovery, with a variety of adult and youth clients including recreational, high school, collegiate and professional athletes. Interns follow a detailed educational curriculum covering every aspect of the Prime system, including assessment, program design, exercise recovery, and coaching skills. Staff inservices, independent learning, and one-on-one learning experiences are scheduled throughout the internship covering a variety of topics each week. In addition, interns may participate in any learning opportunities, such as seminars, that are hosted at Prime during the internship.

“The Prime Sports Institute internship program is an excellent way for healthcare or exercise science-focused students to gain exposure to a multitude of potential avenues and career paths. Interns are given numerous opportunities for learning, and the majority of hours are spent directly observing patient care, athlete recovery, or conversing with sports injury professionals. It was, by far, the best internship experience I had in college. ”

- Aidan Fenton, B.S. in Kinesiology, WWU, & former Prime intern
