Prime is one of the first athletic trainer-owned clinics in the country. An athletic trainer is a certified and licensed health care professional who provides injury prevention services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. Getting you back in the game. Whatever the game may be. Using functional exercises, stretching and movement to help you achieve your goals. The Athletic Trainers at Prime help Bellingham athletes and active people maintain healthy, active lifestyles.
You can think of an Athletic Trainer (AT) as a 'point guard' for your healthcare. AT's can tie in with any of the healthcare professionals you see including physicians, physical therapists, surgeons, registered dietitians, mental health providers, and many other specialists.
Athletic Trainers can help you be more proactive and less reactive with your healthcare. AT's help by diagnosing an injury, uncovering an imbalance before it leads to an injury, providing treatment, prescribing exercises, and collaborating on your behalf with the other members of your healthcare team.
